July "the grind"

Ok so I decided I will make a huge grind this month because of the fact I am really free :P I just hope some things will not come in my way: like getting a dog, partying some more (:D), going on vacation. If I will try to isolate those things (except the dog) I think I can make around 60-70k this month but as again we will see :) So let the GRIND START NOW !

Nopz I am not going to las vegas, well at least not this year but next year I am really thinking about going there ... So I recently completed watching las vegas series and I was amazed what the strike really did ... So there will be no actual end of series in future (SUX) ... But I found my favourite part of all series ...

So and now a little what I was doing last days ... So I had a great session with 5BI+ on stars and made some money out of bets on EURO 2008 (russia in finals !) so I recently moved to pokerhost(prima/microgaming) because of really great rakeback deal. I tryed a little of NL20 today but as all the time I went 2BIs down so I stoped. Will go play NL10 I guess ... But I dont mind I am geting used to it :P I am making a little hands race next month so I hope I will make something like 70k+ will see how it all will go :D Oh another thing: I got HOLDEM MANAGER so more notes on that when I get used to it ...

This is the song which is going through my head now :D Jeah I am alive and we are alive to ... I didnt update my blog recently just because of the fact I didnt really fell like do that :P So I left you guys/girls at point of 400$ or so ... So basiclly I am now at 300$. I had like a fail attempt on NL25, I was at 800$ at some point but then a huge like a really huge downswing came. At least most of the people say it was downswing so I am back to NL10 grinding and its going good so Ill be pretty soon ready to make my third attempt on NL25. I will not show you my stats just because of the fact that I dont want to be reminded of my downswing and afterall I made a new database which I think it was a really good advice from one of a stoxpoker members.

And today I just ended with a nice sweat with a girl which make me up to that I update my blog. So here is my blog updated and I just get my self a place on her blog to :D JIHAAA ! So see you soon with some stats of my new DB (database) :D

And I am off to bed due to a fact I ran out of ciggarets :P

What happened ...

In those 4-5 days? Nothing special really my bankroll is growing pretty fast so I am getting to NL25 pretty fast and It looks like I am reaching my goal in time :P Ok here are the stats for past 4 days:



I am doing pretty good, my NL10 game is very swingy which can be very frustrating from time to time but I am doing hard on my game ... posting hands on forums, watching videos, participating in discussions etc. So I think it will get only better and better :D

I also decided to post my stats and graphs on a weakly basis.

So in my next post I am planting to write a little about psihology and some mental sides of view :D

Ok I wont lie to you guys, I took a look at pokertracker at the end of every session played from the sucky day. And you know what ? I made biggest profit so far in two todays. If we count we get something like 140$ :D Jeah I played specially more looser (23/21) which ended up okay since I was called a lot more on my 3-bets, shoves etc. I will not talk to much anymore ... Later I will post a graph and stats with analysis of todays day included.

Up again ...

Ok so today I went up again, something like 30$. Which is nice because I played something like 700 hands. Maybe tomorrow I am posting a graph and screen from PT. But I found something big today: I was playing to much being RESULT ORIENTED. And today I decided not to look even once in PT or cashier how am I doing. I made myself a ultimatum if I look, I just stop there and withdraw all the money and stop playing poker which was the biggest threat I made to myself in a long time :P So I didnt and a result was really good. I noticed while looking to my hands played I made 3 times less bed decisions. I took more notes on a players, and was also making notes in notepad which hands I need to look at after the session. So I reviewed all the hands on irc and post 3/4 of them on the forum, waiting for an answer. I will try not to look for a week at PT even not at cashier (well in worst case I will). So I guess no more daily graphs and stats.
I noticed another thing that I was playing more relaxed, more concentrated etc. really a good felling, better felling after earning 55$ three days ago ... So I am taking off now ... Tomorrow I am playing a bigger session its friday ... bye bye

Didnt happen ...

Ok I am not posting any today ... just todays day didnt happen. Made something like 35$-. Just NL10 is killing my nervs I have left. I noticed that I have some serious tilting issues not be quite how to fix this. Its just ... Today NL25 a fish which I chase saved me for not go completely idiot. I made 75$- on NL10 and get 40$ from a fish on NL25. Just it crushed my PTBB rating to 9 which is still kinda good but fucked up my graph ... Ahhh I am angry on myself and pokerstars also. I think from now on I will need to be more focused on a goal: "stop after loosing 2BI" then a goal: "get to NL25 to the end of the month".

Everything stops after time ...

No I am not talking about my poker career because its going just fine. So today I didnt post a post which I am sorry about. I made something like -7$ it was not big of a deal but it was -. I covered it with a 3$ SNG which I played it while watching LAS VEGAS :D Ok so today was the best day I ever had since writing this blog. Kings changed the whole day ... Enough talking here are the graphs and stats:

Ok so I made a little change in posting graph so today I used program called pokerEV maybe its a little better because you got sklansky bucks line there also.

Stats are looking pretty good, maybe I became more loose on the NL10 but I tried opening another 2 tables today which wasnt bed thing to do. I do play more tight when playing on 6 tables but I am not really sure about my decisions but I think this are pretty fine to.
So another thing worth mentioning while looking on a stats is my VPIP from SB, this is the thing I am working it on, hope I will get it to at least 20.

Started bad, ended bad ...

So I will not really comment todays day: Hands like AKo,AKs,AQs,AQo,AA,KK are all minus today. Just nah .... sux. I ended in -40$. Hope tomorrow things get worked out. Tomorrow if things dont get worked up I go down to NL5. Graph and stats posted tomorrow I am just to stressed now to do that :D

Ok here are the stats. I made couple of reviews of my yesterdays hand, some of them was bad played some of them was just bad beat. We will see today where we are standing

So todays stats: Nothing special just a minus as told I again didnt act to my "goals". But anyway how can I know every AK I get it will be cracked ? Hands chart says it all ...


Overall stats, still doing 10PTBB/100 so I am quite happy about it ...

Touching NL10 --> never better

Hi guys and girls (at least I hope so :D) ...

So as told I touched NL10 today and I can say only one thing: GREAT !
At first I was thinking ooh again - on this limit and then I little cleared my head and started thinking that I should act like I dont even know this limit. And all went ok. I started getting good cards and also being payed off a lot off times. I noticed that the game is a little tighter then NL5 but I didnt played a lot cuz the day was kinda wierd :D I must say that I posted a lot in hand disscusion forum and I take a look at two videos. Having a day off is really great (I meant having a day off school :D). So enough talking here are the graphs and stats:





And overall standings (profit at NL10 is that small because I had about -30$ at the start)

Ok so yesterday I played quite a lot of hands. So after 3k hands I was about 40$+ which is quite of a result again. So I am making 9.66PTBB/100 which is a good result too. Yesterday I didnt play 8 tables but I tried a little of 4 tabling and I think I was doing same but I was making better decisions for sure.
Maybe today will be the day when I touch NL10 a little but as I sad I am a little afraid of NL10 since in past it made me a lot of headaches :D So enough talking, here are yesterdays stats and a graph:

Ok a bad day for me today ... First of all I would like to include the fact that I did not stick to my goals perfectly but anyway I am not to disapointed since cards today ware really bad. What can we do about it, psyhology, tilt etc. all included in my opinion. So today I made -21$ but I will show you graph and stats.

Was a special day to be honest I had some sweat sessions with a player from stox and in the early phase I think he was like :O since I was getting only good cards, good flops etc. you know how it is when its hitting you :D (If you dont bealive look on the graph :D)

I dont know but really for the first time to be honest this "big stack strategy" as they would call it on pokerstrategy is actually working out or maybe is just an upswing but I think I am doing pretty fine since all my stats are normal ...

Today I watched a movie on stox and then full of optimism started playing. 8 tables of NL5 as usual. I was playing for about an hour and then went on pause, then I was playing two hours and a pause and again one hour. So overall I played about 2.2k hands today :) I end up in 40$ profit :P I had some unlucky AQs on a NL10 table which I btw opened accidentally but the pot was big (multiway) and I had the TPTK (top pair top kicker), I was thinking that I am maybe bad, which I was at the end against a JJ seting :D Ok enough about this so let we take a look at todays statistics:

So I am geting some downs and ups but I think this is the fact we need to count it in if we are playing 6max and especially on lower stakes. So I just need to post a hand and check what I did actually play today :)

April goals ...

So I was thinking and decided to make some goals for april. I know that if I put my self some goals is the best way to improve my game I think for every one else who is just starting that this is a great way to. I put my self goals high. Whys that ? So if we take a look at our life ... I put my self a goal to get hm... let me say about 1k$ a month no matter how just get. And there is another person who puts him self a goal to get 5k$ a month, who do you think it will get more ? Sure we must be realistic since the goal can be so hard to achive that we gave up ... Ok stop bullshiting making goals is a great way of improving your game or what ever you are just doing and want to be succesfull at this. So my goals for april are:

1. At the end of the month I want to be playing on NL25 (500$ of bankroll more is better since I think I will be playing 6max)
2. 40k hands
3. I need to make 2-3 PTBB on NL10 or. NL5 it depends what I will be playing.

What we must count in ?

- On every hour or maybe two if table is very fishy I will make a 5-10-60-120 minutes pause for a drink, take something to eat what ever.
- If I loose two stacks so if I am 10$ in - I will end for that day. In extreme cases where I get suck out really badly I can continue but to -15$ when I am more I go away. Go read a book etc.
- I will watch at least one video a day on stoxpoker.com
- On the and of each day I will go through my "panic" hands of the day and post at least one on the stox forum, 2+2 what ever page :D

So for last few days I was playing a little, yes your right I did not forget about poker (never :D). So I decided to play lower stakes mostly 0.01/0.02 FR (full ring). So I played it for about 8k hands 12-16 tabling. I become bored and started going over my limits and take it to 20 tables :D Yeah it was not right decision since I made a minus 10$ pretty fast. So I decided since my BR is allowing me to do that, I moved to NL5 6max. I played on this limit for about 4k hands and I am doing awesome. Players on these stakes are so loose I just could not imagine have loose they can be. I was getting called by anything (middle pair, low flush draw etc.) so I got quite a few suckouts at the beginning but sooner or later I knew that good cards and odds will get payed off. And they did :D
I hope I will record some session and show it here :P But just for now here are the stats and the graphs from my poker tracker.

I was tilting a little bit to again and get all those things in my mind (poker is not for me, etc.) so I think a little of this: Maybe I should start playing SNGs :D And I played it a little of 3.4$ turbo 10 man SNGos on PS and I was quite succesfull, actually I tried a Collin Moshman strategy showed in his video. Collin Moshman is a great SNG player and he is part of a coach team on stoxpoker.com. He also wrote a book called SNG strategy which I think it will be my part of the poker book collection. As we are here I would like you to inform that I am planting to spend some money on the books but I am still thinking which books would it be so if any of you got some advice please fell free to advice :D (I am not a fan of E-books :P). I am seriously interested in the new Ed harrington holdem cash game, little green, blue and black book set and so on and on and on :D

Good day after all

So yesterday we had a litlle party at friends house, we played a home tournament 10€ buyin (6 players). I finished 3rd but I was very bad beated. So I was holding a 77, I raised about 3 times the BB (I was pretty big stack atm.) and friend called. Flop cames 345 two of diamonds. Since my friend its not that good player I pushed to scare him a little and he called me with A2 diamonds. He beated me so I was pretty not in that bad mood since I didnt play that bad actually I played pretty good tbh. :D

So today I tried to play a little on a FTP (Full Tilt Poker). I started playing Short Stack strategy on NL25. I came to about 7$ profit and leave the tables. I was playing short stack just to get some money and I will be playing short stack to, to get some nice bankroll. So then I wanted to play a little of a NL10 6 handed and I ended with a nice profit. I will make a cutout of interesting hands and post it here. Here are the statistics in my pokertracker
My VPIP is a little to high so I will try to play less hands (my goal is to get it somewhere to 26-28). Next thing I want to know how is my PF aggression doing :D So I hope I will be capable to post some video reviews of hands from todays session (maybe the whole session). So thats it for today.

MY STORY

I started playing poker ... about 2-3 years ago. Actually poker was first thing I started doing when I dinged 18 I started walking in our city poker house. They introduce me to online poker and then I deposited my first 50$ on PP. I busted prety fast (I was playing limit). So I leaved poker for a while and about 6-12 months ago I founded page called pokerstrategy. I get my free bankroll and started playing SS (short stack) NL. I was doing OK but this game didnt fit me. So a while ago I found my bankroll at something like 700$ but I withdraw 500$ cuz of ... (personal reasons :D) and now I am left to hm.. let me say about 150$. Now I got membership to stoxpoker and I am starting my new career with it ...

All the money of 700$ was not made with poker, there is a lot of bonuses involved and other things ... So I realized that I have some serious leak in my game. When I or someone else will find this leak, the graph will go only up not down


So I will start all fresh with this blog ... I will be puting other things in blog to, so all the things connected to poker will be started with latter [P] and other things will be started with latter [L] (which stands for life :D).
